Dr. Fowler was born in Terra Haute, Indiana. He spent his formative years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he excelled in school and achieved his eagle scout badge from the Boy Scouts of America. He then enrolled in the Florida Air Academy in Melbourne. At graduation, he served as his class Valedictorian. His undergraduate studies were completed at Florida State University. Dr. Fowler returned to his roots and attended graduate school at Indiana State University and went on to medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis where he was one of the top five students in his class.
Dr. Fowler's internship and orthopaedic residency were completed at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
His most recent research presentations have included topics on holistic approaches in the treatment of orthopaedics and the benefits of platelet gel aggregate in shoulder surgery.
